An unforgetable day in the mountains is ending with a magnificent sunset. Down in the valley it is almost dark.
The big mountain thatīs causing that fancy shadow is called Hohe Dock (3.348m), in the Austrian Alps

I didn't think it was possible for me to be jealous of someone having access to such beautiful scenery. Mainly because I live in such a beautiful and largely unspoilt area of the far Northwest Highlands of Scotland but...you've managed it. Outstanding photography indeed. :faint:

You certainly should if you get the chance. The best time here for photographers is May or September. The lighting is great and you don't get as much of that annoying mist that hides a lot of the mountains and islands.:hug:
