The Old Farmhouse by Burtn The Old Farmhouse by Burtn
Very old farmhouse in Austria. It was built around 1200, so it had to stand more than 800 hard winters, including the "little iceage" from 1600 to 1850. If walls could tell stories..

The photo was more than just a little interesting on its own. Then I thought about title, and read the description. That made me go, "wow" - and take an even closer look at the photo.

You are right, these farmhauses have been adapted by their owners during their use. Today it is in a very bad condition though, they try to prevent its decay. It is one of two houses, the second is collapsed totally. You can see the ruins on the left side.
