The Cross On The Top by Burtn The Cross On The Top by Burtn
The cross on the top of mount Brennkogel in the Austrian Alps. Some information for interested people: You can see the Gro▀glockner Hochalpen road that reaches its highes point at the pass called Hochtor (where the tunnel is), at 2576m (I've parked my car there;)). It has always been one of the most important passages over the Alps, used yet by the Romans 2000 years ago. In the background you can see the Goldberg group burtn.deviantart.com/art/Stack… with mount Hocharn as highest point (the one that is hiding its top in the clouds).

Ah, the cross is at 3018 meters. This is quite high for our country but not so high for the Alps.

Thanks for the info!
I am seeking for some hikes in Europe; Without snow, but above the clouds!
Do you have any suggestions?

:DMy suggestions for hiking in Europe would fill books. Almost every picture in my Gallery was shot not more than 100 miles away from my home. I'd like to suggest you the Dolomites Mountains in northern Italy though cause you won't find something similar to that in Northern America.

This might sound as a really weird question, but have you ever seen mountain goats on your high-mountain hikes?
Love your stock pictures btw! <3

:)Ah yes, chamois can be seen frequently. With some luck you can see the big capricorns, especially shortly after sunset in the Nationalpark.
