Pines And Peaks 2nd by Burtn Pines And Peaks 2nd by Burtn
Mandlwand, Hochkönig range, Austria. Most amazing thing is that these mountains of limestone and dolomite were built up by little organisms like corals ages ago. They are more than 8000 ft high and surely the biggest structures on earth that were made by living creatures.

I wonder what type of dangerous creatures live around these mountains! So much beauty must hide at least a non-venomous snake! ;)

I read over your rules, feel free to let me know if I did anything to upset you, I can take it down immediately if needed. I have a hard time understanding things sometimes, so just let me know!
(Pretty sure I did everything by your rules though! :D )

I find the Dolomites look so much more impressive on the Austrian side than the Italian for some reason... I think it's all the forest at the foot of the mts. They're really impressive overall, though!

:)These are not the Dolomites. It is the Hochkönig range in the northern Alps near Salzburg. But you are right, it looks very similar.
