Nieswurz by Burtn Nieswurz by Burtn
Nieswurz (Hellebore, Veratrum Album) is one of the most distinctive and poisonous plants of the Alps. You can see them in the foreground on the meadow. It is used to heal animals and people, also for a special snuff tobacco. In the background Mount Kammerlinghorn.
(fullview please, normal view is shown blurred??)

Would you mind terribly if I used this picture as reference for a landscape painting that I am doing in my painting class? The place and who the took the picture is required so you will be credited.

Hi:wave:, I'd like it when you do. Paining is the most creative way of using stock;).

Thank you so very much! I will certainly make sure that it is known that you took the picture. And I hope that I can do your wonderful picture any justice in paint. I doubt that I will upload the painting on here as it's just for a class to better my own skills in painting.

I used to hike a lot in the French Alps when I was young. This is nearly the same. Nature doesn't have any frontiers...
Have a good day and congratulations for your images.

Hi:wave:, thank you. You are right, the Alps look very similar in France. Just the climate is different to the northern side.
