Typical example of the seasonal mountain farming in Austria. The cattle will spend the summer here, now it is still down in the valleys. Farmers still are having a simple live with hard work in these few months on the mountains.

Lovely mountain pasture! Where is this? It reminds me a bit on Steinernes Meer?

Hey there

, you are right, it is very close to Steinernes Meer. The mountains shown belong to the Hochkalter near Berchtesgaden and mark the border between Austria and Germany. Steinernes Meer is a few miles in the south-east.
