This is not a natural lake but a reservoire to produce electricity in a clean way. It is nearly 100 years old and has grown to a little paradise near the city.(Location is Wiestalsee near Salzburg, Austria)

This discussion is not easy. The Austrian folk voted against nuclear energy and banned it for ever, but that needs more dams for waterpower. I can live with that pretty well but not anywone can, so the discussion goes on.

wre havin a similar problem at the moment, we have a beautiful scinic countryside and the govornment want to put up more electricity pilons, but we have no other source of energy in our area the dont like wid turbines and they dont like nuclear either, they dont know there arses from there elbows most of the time but theres enough of them causing a stink to make a difference... :/
