Bleh by ~Burtn It may be titled "Bleh" but this landscape is anything but! A perfect base from which to view your fantasy realm or watch your ships taking off into space from your futuristic mega city! (
I agree about the trees both those in the foreground and in the forest in the lower background. It's a distraction to me, though I know it IS what it is. And I'm not saying it's not a GREAT view because it is indeed. The background trees could probably be accepted with a more interesting foreground but putting the dead trees in the foreground would not be my personal choice. So, you're not alone sir in thinking "dat" about the trees. By the way, obviously a lot of folks don't agree and this is just my opinion. Doesn't make anyone "right" or "wrong." Just my two-cents worth.
Hi Jeff, there´s no "dead" tree in this picture. Larch trees loose their needles in fall like other trees their leaves, they will be green again in spring, just like the grass. Much more confusing is the fact that there´s no snow due to high temperatures, very unusual for this season and altitude of maybe 6000ft. It is indeed the first time in my life that I could reach this spot in november without skiers. That seems to be a global problem..
Thank you for enlightening me. I "assumed," (not the best to do ever.) In the USA forests in parts of the country, we have many trees that look like this that are dead because of disease. I'm glad that this is not the case there. Thank for not taking offense.
