This reminds me when I was flying over Switzerland on a plane to Barcelona and you can see the mountains from the sky. But seeing the mountains on the ground is much more beautiful :la:

The mountain looks like it was made by two plates pushing each other. Everything about the picture is beautiful, even the flowers.

You are right, it is similar to that. It was the ground of a sea once that was pushed up and broke into pieces when Africa crashed into Europe.

Well, several fossiles in the limestone give enough information about that. It was a quite flat sea called Tethys with coral reefs and subtropical climate.
